It's your fault that Donald Trump won. When I was a 15-year-old, my Mother burned my Pogues album in our kitchen Aga saying, "...this is the Devil's music Thor."
What do you think I did next? I went and bought all the Pogues music I could find, and instead of just listening and enjoying I got drunk and took whatever drugs I could too.
So, if you are one of those who jumped on the media motorcade and bought their lecture which said, 'Trump is evil, racist and literally Hitler'...then yeah, it's your fault The Donald won.
This is basic psychology, isn't it? You infantilize people and say, 'drugs are bad, your music is bad, this politician is bad' and what do you expect?
Meanwhile, Trump scored big with his vulgar politically incorrect speech. Not because the voters necessarily agreed with everything he said, but because we don't like to be treated like children, and told we aren't allowed to say or think whatever we damn well like.
This summer, I was asked to adapt our corporate business storytelling workshop and run it for a kids camp. Imagine my surprise then, when the 9-year-olds were asked to create a story on any topic they wanted, and two of them came up with stories about assassinating Donald Trump.
This was how far the media motorcade has driven down the 'just say no to Trump' road. Think about it, actual 9-year-olds have taken onboard their message of 'Trump is the Devil' to the extent that they are fantasizing about killing him! Unlucky for the media (and Clan Clinton) though, many adults saw the 'just say no to evil' messaging...and voted Trump anyway. Probably went home and chugged a beer or lit up a joint too, don't you think?
